On January 23rd, CPCU Society Hawaii Chapter ushered the new year with the installation of its new board.
Ramy Ng – President
Alison Tanigawa – President-Elect
Mallorie Papin – Vice President
Treasurer – Geoffrey Johnson
Secretary – Martin Beardeaux
Immediate Past President – Meredith Chin
The event was held at Upstairs at Pier 38 where attendees enjoyed a four course meal among colleagues and friends. The Chapter also acknowledged Tawana Scott who was elected Chapter Governor for the Society’s Southern California and Hawaii territory. President Ramy Ng is committed to maintain the high standards of the Hawaii Chapter and gifted each of her board members a Turkish towel with a Star Wars blue light saber print. The Jedi used the lightsaber to overcome any obstacles and different colors of the light sabers has different meanings. The blue light saber as shown in this towel represents hope, growth and inspiration. Like the blue light saber, the Chapter hope it will grow and inspired to be the best version of itself. And like the fighters that we all are, we will overcome any obstacles that presents itself. The installation dinner celebrated the Chapter’s achievements under Meredith Chin’s leadership and great things to come in 2024.
