History of the Hawaii Chapter

The Hawaii Chapter was founded in 1961 by insurance leaders who wanted to advance the profession by serving its members and community.  With the CPCU Canons as our guiding principle, we host CE seminars, community service and networking events for our members.  

For many years, the Hawaii Chapter has been recognized in the CPCU Society’s Circle of Excellence Recognition Program which awards chapters who have achieved benchmarks in chapter performance.  The Hawaii Chapter was awarded the Platinum Circle of Excellence which is the highest level of accomplishment and will endeavor to maintain its Circle of Excellence recognition and serve its members with many events throughout the year.
